Libra School Goals and Directions

 

Libra School is initiator and driving force of Continuous Improvement Process in Libra Group. People efforts and energy is channeled to achieve:

  • Process Excellence
  • High Level Customer Focus
  • Employee Proficiency and Involvement

Libra School designs and carries out a number of Process and Organizational culture improvement projects as well as Training programs in key competence areas.

 

 

 

Major Libra School Projects

 

HiPo Program

High Potential Employee Development Program was started in Q2 of 2006. 100 Libra Group employees were selected for this program and will receive a comprehensive training in:

  • Management skills
  • Process improvement and reengineering
  • Individual efficiency and skills

The program is planned for two year period with the objective of producing the tangible results in pre-selected areas by each participant of the program. The overall goal of the Program is to facilitate future Manager and Key Specialist development for Libra Group Companies.

 

Branding

Libra Group own brands development started in 2005. Libra School in close cooperation with Some of Libra Group Companies is working on brand development in:

  • Kitchens (Nabukas)
  • Industry Service (Dominga)
  • Flooring (GG Floors)
  • Furniture (Artline Furniture)

Libra School Projects Supported by EU

 

In year 2006 and 2007 Libra Group will receive EUR 0.86 ml. of EU support for employee training and development in the areas:

  • Lean Manufacturing implementation
  • On-the-Job training system implementation (100% Proficiency)
  • Managerial Skills
  • English Language
  • ECDL (European Computer Driving License)

Three major Libra Group plants (Venta, Dominga Mill and Dailinta) will have approximately 1600 employees taking part in this program.
